In March of 2020, our founder and lead designer, Shea Solazzo, was working in-house as a Marketing Manager, overseeing digital marketing and web development for a small event company in San Diego. With five years of experience under her belt, Shea had built a solid foundation in the marketing industry. However, when the lockdowns began, many marketing jobs disappeared, and Shea faced a pivotal decision: continue working in-house or start her own firm. She chose the latter, and Solazzo Designs was born.
